Scholars Press, the U.S. publisher of books in Religious Studies has decided to stop book publication as of January 2000. Since the series Targum Studies was published by Scholars Press, this decision raised questions about its ability to continue. But all is well. Targum Studies: New Series will now be published by Global Press of Binghampton, New York, USA (http://ssips.binghamton.edu). The first volume of the new series, Michael L. Klein's The Masorah to Targum Onqelos, will go to press in February. Several further volumes are already in various stages of preparation. The two previously published volumes of Targum Studies may be purchased from University Press of America.

The IOTS sponsors an e-mail discussion list for the study of the targumim called Targum-L. Anyone wishing to subscribe should send their email address to "listmaster" Paul Flesher at: PFlesher@uwyo.edu.
